This directory contains a number of parameter files which approximately
replicate some studies in the literature; each of these has a header
comment describing what it does. If you have a working MIDI interface,
and a keyboard and tone generator communicating on MIDI channel 1, then
you should be able to run these by simply typing:

ftap <parameter file name>

If you have a masking noise voice programmed on MIDI channel 2, masking
noise can be added by setting MASK_ON to 1.

If the parameter file is not designed to terminate by itself, you should
be able to exit with ctrl-C (or using whatever interrupt character is
configured on your system).

The output file will be named <paramfile>*abs. The output file name
includes (obligatorily) coding of subject, block, and trial; for
an actual experiment these would be specified on the command line.
Here, they default to the strings "sub", "block", and "trial" respectively.
